Troubleshooting
The four things that can go wrong and what to do about each.
| Symptom | What to do |
|---|---|
| Jibber says it is busy | Wait a few moments and try again. |
| A request takes too long | Jibber will let you know and suggest trying with shorter text. |
| A command fails for another reason | Jibber will let you know it could not complete the request. Try again right away. |
| Settings will not save | Run the command again and try once more. |
| The command does not appear at all | Jibber has to be added to the server or your account first. |
Jibber says it is busy
If Jibber says it is busy, wait a few moments and try again.
A request takes too long
If a request takes too long, Jibber will let you know and suggest trying with shorter text. See the limits page for the character limit that applies to each command.
A command fails for another reason
If a command fails for any other reason, Jibber will let you know it could not complete the request. You can try again right away.
Settings will not save
If /settings cannot be saved, run the command again and try once more. See the
settings page for the full steps.
The command does not appear at all
Jibber has to have been added to the server or your account by whoever looks after your Discord setup. You can only use it where it has been installed. See getting started for what to check first.
