What Jibber does

Jibber is a Discord helper. It translates text into a language you choose, checks your writing for grammar mistakes and suggests clearer phrasing, and turns long passages into a short summary with the key points. Each command works the same way: you give Jibber some text, and it replies with the result.

Command What it does
/translate Translates text you paste, or a message you pick from the chat, into your chosen language. Learn more
/grammar Checks a passage you paste and replies with corrected text, a list of changes, and a smoother rewrite. Learn more
/summarize Turns text you paste, or a long message you pick, into a one-line summary and a list of key points. Learn more
/settings Sets the language Jibber replies in, either following your Discord language or a language you save. Learn more

Two ways to reach Jibber

You can run any command as a slash command: type a forward slash in the message box, pick the command from the list, and fill in the text field Discord shows you. This path works for all four commands.

For a message that is already in the chat, you can also use the Apps context menu, so you do not have to retype or paste anything. Only /translate and /summarize are available from the Apps menu on an existing message. /grammar and /settings are slash commands only.

On desktop
Right-click the message, choose Apps, then choose Translate or Summarize.
On mobile
Press and hold the message, choose Apps, then choose Translate or Summarize.
