Translate text you type or paste

  1. Type a forward slash

    In any chat where Jibber is available, type a forward slash, /.
  2. Pick Translate

    Choose /translate from the list of commands.
  3. Fill in the text field

    In the prompt Discord shows you, type or paste the words you want translated.
  4. Press Enter

    Send the command.
  5. Read the reply

    Jibber lets you know it is working, then replies with the translation. Only you can see the reply.

Translate a message in the chat

  1. Find the message

    Find the message you want translated in your chat.
  2. Open the context menu

    On desktop, right-click the message. On mobile, press and hold it.
  3. Choose Apps, then Translate

    From the menu that appears, choose Apps, then choose Translate.
  4. Read the reply

    Jibber replies with the translation. Only you can see it.

On mobile
Press and hold the message, choose Apps, then choose Translate.

This works for any single message you can see in the chat, including messages written in other languages. Only that one message is shared with Jibber.

Translation

The text you submitted, translated into your chosen output language.

The reply is private. Only you can see it, and it is not posted to the chat for others to read.
