Limits and long results
What happens at the edges, when your input is long or the answer is.
Input limit
The text you submit can be up to 6,000 characters. The same limit applies to translate, grammar, and summarize.
| Command | Limit |
|---|---|
| Translate | 6,000 characters |
| Grammar | 6,000 characters |
| Summarize | 6,000 characters |
When a result is too long
Most replies fit inside a single Discord message. If a result is too long, Jibber sends it as
a text file called jibber-result.txt instead, which you can open or download
to read the full result. This only happens when the result is too big for a regular message.
Replies are private and temporary
Every response is only visible to you. Other people in the chat do not see it, and the reply disappears after a short time. Read more about what this means for your data on the privacy page.
If a request takes too long
If a request takes too long, Jibber will let you know and suggest trying with shorter text. See the troubleshooting page for what to do about this and other error conditions.
